Caf Awards; Moses Out, Rohr And Assisat Oshoala Make Final Shortlist

Nigerian International, Victor Moses has been left out of the final three-man Shortlist for the 2017 CAF African Player of the Year Award.

Moses enjoyed a stellar season when Chelsea won the EPL last season, he played a pivotal role in the title triumph.

Victor Moses was also instrumental as Nigeria qualified for the 2018 World Cup in Russia Undefeated.

Egyptian Mohammed Salah is the overwhelming favourite to win the Award after playing a starring role in the Pharaoh's Qualification for the 2018 FIFA World Cup for the first time in 28years.

Mohammed Salah, Saido Mane and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang made the final shortlist, it will be recalled that a fortnight ago, Salah won the BBC African Player of the Year Award.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr made the final shortlist for the Best coach in Africa, he will battle it out with Egypt Hector Cuper and Hussein Amoutta of Wydad Casablanca who won the 2017 CAF Champions League.

Assisat Oshoala is also among the Contenders to win the 2017 CAF Player of the Year in the Women Category.
