FIFA deducts three points from Ittihad Jeddah

Saudi Football Association revealed that FIFA decided to deduct three points from Ittihad Jeddah because of different cases filed against the club. Reports said that the deduction penalty applied on the Tigers comes as Ittihad failed to pay Daniel Alejandro late dues. Other reports pointed out that the deduction came from the AFC disciplinary committee, because of breaches made by the club’s fans. With this decision, the club will drop from the top of the Saudi Professional League to second place after a dramatic win on Saturday against Al Fateh, in which the Jeddah-based club snatched a win in the last minutes of the game. Al Hilal remains in first place as the team was on the same level with the Tigers who were ahead on goal difference.
