AFCON 2017: Uganda announce provisional squad
Egypt group rivals Uganda have named their 40- man provisional squad that is set to represent the country in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon .
Uganda have been drawn along with Egypt, Ghana and Mali in Group D of the African competition, with the group’s encounters scheduled to take place in Libreville, Gabon. The Cranes, coincidentally, are also with Egypt and The Black Stars in the same group of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic’s side is in the
second place with four points from two games behind The Pharaohs who are in the lead with six points.
