Bayern Munich Concede Joint-Fastest Goal In Bundesliga History Against Hoffenheim
Hoffenheim’s Kevin Volland scored against Bayern Munich after just nine seconds to equal the fastest ever Bundesliga goal on Saturday.
The German forward pounced on a misplaced back pass from Bayern centre-back Jerome Boateng to slot past Manuel Neuer at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena.
It equals the record set by Bayer Leverkusen’s Karim Bellarabi against Borussia Dortmund last August.
Bayern, who began their season with a 5-0 win over Hamburg last week, equalised through Thomas Muller shortly before half-time.
Hoffenheim, who opened their campaign with a 2-1 defeat at Leverkusen, have never beaten Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga in 14 attempts.
