Uko Friday Umoh appointed Special Assistant, Local Media

Governor Udom Emmanuel has approved the appointment of Mr. Friday Uko Umoh, (aka Uko Biafra) as the Special Assistant, Local Media.

Mr. Umoh holds a Bachelors Degree in Geology and Regional Planning from the University of Cross River State, now University of Uyo.

He has been actively involved with the local media and is the Publisher of the Community Pulse, one of the local tabloids in the State. From 2012-2013, Mr. Umoh served as the Vice Chairman of the League of Newspaper Publishers in Akwa Ibom State and from 2013 to date, has been the Chairman, League of Newspaper Publishers in Akwa Ibom State.

Mr. Umoh was a member of both Godswill Obot Akpabio Media Campaign team as well as Udom/Moses Campaign Organization, 2015.
