Sometimes, fans criticize some Nollywood movies the way they are poorly scripted and at the end, they applaud the sound track used in the movies. One of brains behind some movie sound tracks is Nollywood queen of sound tracks and gospel artiste, Chimere Emejuobi- Nnaoma.

Chimere who became famous with hit song, 'I Have confidence In You Jesus,' has produced sound tracks for movies like 'Warrior's Heart' 'Magic Cap' 'Sleep Walker' 'Corporate Maid' 'Love My Way' 'Next Door Neighbour' and 'Shakira'.

Shedding light on why she picked up a career in music and not her preferred choice of being a journalist, the singer stated that as an O'level student in the 90's, she had wanted to be an actress and when she went for auditions, she found out that she needed to know someone within the industry before she could get any movie role.

She also explained that she could not cope with the kind of money actors were being paid which was just 300 naira while she had about 10,000 naira in her bag.

“As a student then, I imagined how I could cope with the sum of N300 they paid to some actors then, while I had about N10,000 in my bag each time I went for audition. That was how I lost interest in acting and decided to go fully into music and also produce soundtracks for movies. My first soundtrack was featured in an Igbo movie called Obiora,” she said.
