How Jude Ejiogu Flogged Kema, Ihenacho, Akakem, Njoku In Owerri North
As PDP party stalwart in Imo State continue to lose grip following defeat in the gubernatorial election in their various LGAs, reasons why the Chief of Staff, Government House, Sir Jude Ejiogu humiliated some big names in Owerri North to win the LGA for the All progressives Congress (APC) is beginning to emerge.
It could be recalled that the Governorship candidate of APGA, Capt. Emma Iheanacho, and other notable PDP leaders in Owerri North like, Prince Lemmy Akakem, Kema Chikwe and Haritex Njoku were defeated in the LGA by the Chief of Staff, Sir Ejiogu.
In their separate speeches, some APGA and PDP supporters in the LGA, Barr Kennedy Chukwu, Chika Anukam and Chikwe Kingsley said that the reason why their parties failed in the area was due to the giant strides the Chief of Staff has recorded within the period he has been in government, stressing the need for their members to rally round him whom they described as their new leader in the constituency.
They further disclosed that though, Capt Iheanacho did his best in youth empowerment within his village circle as Minister of Interior, but maintained that Sir Ejiogu instead of empowering his Emekuku people alone spread his tentacles in ensuring that every village and community in the local government benefitted massively in his empowerment.
Furthering, the people recalled that Sir Ejiogu as the Apex Leader of Owerri Federal Constituency did not only deliver his LGA to APC but ensured that the three LGAs of Owerri North, West and Municipal were won by the All Progressives Congress to guarantee his ability as the top political leader in the constituency.
In another development, the Joint Owerri Federal Constituency Youths Forum has applauded the Chief of Staff, Sir Ejiogu for leading them into the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing his action as patriotic and human.
The youths led by Dr. Opara Godwin thanked the good people of their constituency for coming out en-mass to cast vote for the APC, appealing to them to continue to support the party during the forth-coming supplementary election in the state.
