Group Endorses Atunwa For Rep

Thousands of All Progressive Congress (APC) supporters in Asa Local Government, Kwara State under the platform of Fulani community of Asa have endorsed Barr. Razak Atunwa for House of Representatives.

This was expressed in a town hall meeting held by the Fulani Community in Asa, pledging to rally support for Barr. Atunwa to enable him emerge victorious in next month's National Assembly election. The group explained that its endorsement of Atunwa House of Representatives aspiration, was due to his leadership qualities and previous achievements as commissioner in various Ministries and Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly.

Mallam Aminu Abdulazeez who spoke on behalf of the group said they endorsed the aspirant because of his broad national outlook, in depth knowledge of the constituency's challenges and commitment to make a difference which make him the best candidate to transform Asa/Ilorin West.

Aminu acknowledged Atunwa's social welfare schemes for the needy, including the Fulani community in Asa, young people, and vulnerable women.

“APC has given us the best candidate in Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency. Atunwa as a leader conveys an enviable asset that is acceptable to people of diverse cultures living in the constituency, who are willing to vote for him massively in the forthcoming elections. His laudable antecedents while serving as commissioner in various ministries accompanied with philanthropic activities to all without discrimination place him above others in our view in the Fulani community,” he said.

Aminu assured that the Fulani community in Asa are adequately prepared to deliver their votes to Atunwa. Lending his voice to the group's readiness, he said they have collected their PVCs and are mobilizing people from door to door for Barr. Razak Atunwa.
