PricewaterhouseCoopers Submits Forensic Audited Report Of NNPC's Finances To President Jonathan

BEVERLY HILLS, February 02, (THEWILL) – President Goodluck Jonathan Monday received the long-awaited forensic audited report of the finances of state owned Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) from PricewaterhouseCoopers, the professional auditing firm contracted by government to look into the books of the oil giant.

The report was submitted to the President at the presidential villa, Abuja, by PWC's Country Senior Partner, Mr. Uyi Akpata and PWC's Risk and Quality Leader (Africa), Mr. Gabriel Ukpeh.

President Jonathan had ordered the audit of the NNPC following allegations of fraud and missing funds from the coffers of the corporation.
