GROUP DECLARE SUPPORT FOR RESCUE MISSION, APC

Yesterday, Imo Deputy Governor received Representatives of a youth group under the aegis of Congress of Imo Youth (CIY) that declared for All Progressives Congress while pledging to work tirelessly for the re-election of Owelle Rochas Okorocha and ultimately victory at the centre.

The youths who paid a visit to Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere said the aim of their visit is to identify with the Governor Okorocha, his deputy for their giant strides in in Imo State

Speaking for the group, Comrade Udochukwu Emekalam, the Coordinator of the youth group said they have taken time to evaluate the performance of the Rescue Mission Government led by Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha and came to term the realities of his great vision realized in his unequal delivery of dividends of democracy.

Worried by the evil and mis-governance of the past, Mr. Udochukwu averred that they as progressives who are professionals decided to drop party politics and work for a government that think about the future of her people. He observed that as youth, if they decide to squander the opportunity presented to them, posterity will not remember them well.

In the same vein, Engr. Samuel Nwokeocha showered encomium the Governor and his deputy for giving the good people of Imo State quality leadership, which is all inclusive. He regretted that style in the past where the resources of Imo State were concentrated and revolves around less two percent of imo populace. He emphatically declared their resolve never to look back in h bid ensure that Owelle Rochas Okorocha have a landslide victory in 2015 guber elections.

She queried, "how would the poor handle it if he leaves at this critical period?" She enumerated the areas of plank - Free education, Imo Foundation, which has saved numerous poor people's lives who has no means for medical attention abroad, close to two hundred well furnished houses for the indigent widows with clothing, financial empowerment, freedom that everyone enjoys, construction of roads at the rural areas.

Dorothy said the women are ready to go all out with everything within their reach to ensure a successful re-election bid of Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha with his deputy, Prince Eze Madumere.

In his response, Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere commended his Special Assistant, Political for abiding by the principles of open door policy and embracing all because politics and governance are about the people.

He however showered praises on the youth group for being truthful to themselves. He told them the only way to transform Imo State and in Nigeria in general is only when people say the truth and jettison desperate politicians.

He therefore assured the group that they will be carried along in the scheme of things while hanging them to take the good message about Governor Okorocha All progressives Congress to every home as Imolites are the ultimate beneficiaries of good governance when re-elected.
