Nigeria Police elevates three to commissioners
The Nigerian Police has elevated three of its officers to the rank of commissioners.
The Ag. Inspector-General of Police, IGP Suleiman Abba, who assumed office about a fortnight ago, decorated three newly promoted Commissioners of Police with their new ranks on Monday.

The short but colourful ceremony was the first since the IGP came on board.
the IGP, while congratulating the newly promoted Commissioners of Police, urged them to see their elevation to the new rank as a clarion call for higher dedication to duty, noting that to whom much is given, much is expected.
The IGP further enjoined the Senior Police Officers to be alive to the happenings around them and to make themselves readily accessible not only to the Officers and men under them but also to the entire members of the public.
