Early 90s: Rihanna completed her throwback look with a black T-shirt and a pair of black high top Converse sneakers

She's no stranger to wearing racy outfits on and off the red carpet.

But Rihanna kept it casual while still flaunting her amazing pins in a pair of distressed tiny denim shorts in West Hollywood on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old exuded a bit of '90s flair as she teamed her ensemble with an oversized red and clear rain slicker and a plaid flannel shirt tied around her waist.

The talented star wore her black wavy locks up with little make-up on her flawless complexion and a pair of large hoop earrings.

The Pour It Up singer was heading to a studio where she is finishing up recording her upcoming eighth studio album.

On Sunday the beauty was spotted going to dinner to her favourite restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica with her father, Ronald Fenty.

For that outing the Diamonds singer – who is a huge World Cup fan – teamed a green zip-up jacket, complete with Mexico's team logo on the chest, with a loose-fitting black maxi dress.

Rihanna was obviously keen to get behind the Mexico side who were playing that same day against the Netherlands.
