Ahmed Musa Injured

Nigerian winger, Ahmed Musa is currently nursing an unspecified injury, Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi has revealed.

Musa was substituted at half time in Nigeria's 0-0 draw against Greece in an international friendly on 3 June.

Keshi has now confirmed that the CSKA Moscow man's substitution in the game against the Ethniki was actually down to injury.

'Musa is nursing an injury (but it's nothing serious). Hopefully, everybody is going to be fine before we leave for Brazil.

'Right now, we have 90 to 95 per cent of healthy players in our squad,' Keshi told journalists in Jacksonville, United States on Thursday.

The former Mali national team trainer also lifted the lid on his reasons for drafting in Kunle Odunlami and not Juwon Oshaniwa as Elderson Echiejile's replacement when the AS Monaco man copped an injury in the friendly against Greece.
