World Cup: 12 TAN Winners To Cheer Eagles In Brazil

Twelve winners of the Transformation Ambassador of Nigeria (TAN) tagged 'TAN fly me to Brazil' have emerged. They are expected to depart the country before June 12, kick-off date of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, according to the director of communication and strategy of TAN, Dr Udenta O. Udenta. He said TAN, a non- governmental organisation decided to embark on the project to create awareness and good governance as represented by President Goodluck Jonathan administration. 'We are using the World Cup as a launch pad to support government effort in the development and promotion of sports in the country. 'The present administration has done much in the area of sports development. When those 12 Nigerian returns from the World Cup, they will be able to tell Nigerians what they saw and that will motivate others to be full involve when the next set come alive. We are going to do same in all the competitions Nigeria will be participating in,' he said.
