Scotland's Charlie Mulgrew opened the scoring in his side's friendly against Nigeria a game investigated for match fixing before it even began with a goal he probably couldn't duplicate if given a thousand chances and telekinetic powers. In just the ninth minute of the match, a short corner was used to set up a powerful ball into the box, which Mulgrew casually flicked towards Nigeria's goal with his heel. That caused the ball to float up into the sky, arching over goalkeeper Austin Ejide and land softly in the far side of the net.

Ejide was understandably surprised by the result.
Nigeria equalized shortly before halftime, but gave the lead back to Scotland with an own goal in the 52nd minute before finally equalizing again at the last minute. Another Scotland goal earlier in the match was disallowed for a foul, but might give the match fixing investigators a bit more to investigate.

Scorers:
Nigeria: Michael Ucheno 41, Uche Nwofor 90
Scotland: Charlie Mulgrew 10, Azubuike Egwuekwe 52og
