SAN FRANCISCO, May 14, (THEWILL) â€' Nigerians in London, United Kingdom, once again held a Special Mass Service at Our Lady & St Joseph Catholic Church in North London yesterday for the safe return of the students of Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, who were kidnapped by the terrorist group, Boko Haram.

In his sermon at the service Monsignor Obike said 'As a nation, as Nigerians, our pain, sorrow and the anguish we are going through cannot be quantified. The nation is hurting but God in His Infinite Mercy will surely intervene positively in Nigeria and for the safe return of the students, our children'.

Also speaking, Rev Father Albert Ofere, Head of Nigeria Catholic Chaplaincy London who led the Mass Service said the only wrong the students did was to go to school to learn and nothing more. He prayed to God to make a way for the safe return of the students.

In his speech, Chief Austin Ajaero, the UK Co-ordinator of Goodluck Support Group (GSG), the organizers of the Mass thanked Nigerians and their friends for attending the Special Mass Service despite the short notice. He urged Nigerians in the UK to support President Goodluck Jonathan. And 'one way of supporting the President is by joining the group irrespective of your political affiliations' he said.
