Barca Shaking At Carles Puyol Exist

Carles Puyol has confirmed, in a press conference called by him on Tuesday, that he would be leaving Barcelona at the end of the season.

The 35-year-old defender was notably moved by the occasion as he told watching reporters and members of the Barcelona squad that this would be his last season, after 14 years at the club.

“I am tired after so many injury problems and operations. Club and I have decided to rescind my contract” he stated.

He said: 'After two knee operations, I can no longer perform as I wish' but assured supporters, 'there are three months of the season to go and I will not drop my guard between now and then'.
