Official Orange CHAN 2014 sponsors POWER HORSE congratulate Nigeria on winning the bronze medal at the tournament in Cape Town

Ousting host nation South Africa and winning bronze with such a young team is a major achievement for Nigerian football according to the tournament's official sponsor POWER HORSE. POWER HORSE Africa testimonial Morenikeji Taofeek Akanbi had failed to make the Super Eagles team for Orange CHAN 2014 due to being sidelined, but was invited to the Zim clash. “I kept my fingers crossed for my team mates and was delighted that they could defeat the Warriors”, the versatile striker said.


Akanbi, who moved to newly-promoted Crown FC ahead of the upcoming Nigerian Premier League season, will be POWER HORSE's face in the upcoming product promotion campaign on the African continent. Therefore, he was also assigned to handing over the top goalscorer trophy at the Orange 2014 CHAN final to South Africa ace Bernard Parker.
