Kalu’s awards to Diezani Alison-Madueke

The former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu is one man who recognises the strength in others on the serving-dish of selflessness. Being a talented man and a master strategist, he recognises geniuses. As an accomplished businessman and politician, in earnest, he recognises who gets the credit. Recognising the abilities of others who have done well in their different fields, Kalu is not limited with the ability of doing good.

Recognising the Minister of Petroleum Resources recently in far away China, Dr. Kalu formally gave two awards to Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke. The two awards are (1) The Quintessential Minister of Petroleum Resources and, (2) The Mother of Local Content. The awards were coming aftermath of the Christmas festivity in which the woman showed rare mettle and there were petroleum products in abundance, unlike what used to be a tradition of scarcity of the products during the period.

Dr. Kalu gave Alison-Madueke the awards having periscoped her performance from July 26, 2007, when she was appointed Minister of Works and April 6, 2010, when she was posted to the Ministry of Petroleum Resources. In his wisdom, Kalu believes that Alison-Madueke has done very well in line with her present occupation and says that it is only the do-nothings that will say that she has not performed creditably above board.

Kalu says that the awards were given Alison-Madueke, because of her zest to harness the activities of the ministry optimally than she met it. He does not see anything wrong with whatever the thoughts or opinions expressed by other people about Alison-Madueke are. But that don't deny any sense that she has done very well in her job. In this regard, some persons might accuse Kalu of expressing his beliefs on the minister scantily.

Overcoming his pride as a very influential personality and opening his mind beyond what is comfortable, Kalu doesn't clap for the wrong things. He has appraised Alison-Madueke as one Minister of the industry who has expressed clear dignity to work from the day-one on her duty post, by localising and indigenising the industry, particularly as it matters to the local content proposal.

A quiet truth about Kalu is that deep within, there is something profoundly about him: guiding Nigeria along the path of greater becoming. This is a true awareness. This, perhaps, is the reason the minister's recognition is required, which comes from the dude who has such a powerfully divine gift, to foresee things beyond mere beer parlour visions and recognitions. Kalu has the undying flood of passion, excitement, liveliness, influence, potency, affluence, acknowledgment, admiration, desire, willpower, keenness, buoyancy, bravery and vivacity that work and nourish the love and passion that spring from inside.

To Kalu, Alison-Madueke has solved the problem in the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), which was not meeting local demands, predominantly during festive periods. To Kalu, Alison-Madueke has fought wisely in making sure that petroleum products go uninterrupted. He says that the occasional shortage of the products caused by PENGASSAN and other unions in the sector can't be ascribed to be the shortcomings of the minister; and the Local Content Bill before the National Assembly is one substantial attainments of this debonair and judicious administrator.

Before Kalu gave Alison-Madueke the awards, it was easy to see the minister and what she was doing, but very hard to take to account her dutiful accomplishments and recognise the awakening of silence, which Kalu has just done. Kalu has expressed to Nigerians that there are the taste for sensations of revelation and the tang for emotions of recognition. It is in his belief that Nigerians should support the minister, because she has done very well in the area of providing local content; Diezani Alison-Madueke has fought irreversibly and is committed in making sure that the bill is not waved and shaved aside to the area of dustbins.

Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu marvels at the achievements of the minister, but is very clever to realise and say that she's born to lead. It therefore, behooves all to support Diezani Alison-Madueke, according to Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, her colleagues in the Organisation of Petroleum Countries (OPEC), say that she has shown no-less role since she joined the elevated organisation. Diezani Alison-Madueke was among the top women executives in a recent documentary by the Cable News Network (CNN) copiously mentioned in the global economy, says Kalu. The awards are receiving applause so loud and several evaluations. Alison-Madueke must be anesthetised with happiness, as these alone are also part of her life and her world.
