Amaechi Sacks Urban Development Commissioner Over Loyalty To Wike

Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi has sacked the Commissioner for Urban Development, Mr Tammy Danagogo.

A statement by the Governor's Chief Press Secretary, Mr David Iyofor, added that the dismissal was with immediate effect.

Amaechi further directed Danagogo to handover immediately to the Permanent secretary in the Ministry of Urban Development.

The sack of Danagogo may not be unconnected with his decision to remain in the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after his principal defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
