Abducted Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Mr. Mike Ozekhome, has been freed by his abductors.

According to a source close to the family of the abducted lawyer disclosed that he was released to the warm embrace of his family early this morning.

His release is coming two days after the same set of kidnappers set free Athanasius Ugbome, an APC chieftain in Edo state, and Mark Omoregbe, who were both abducted alongside the respected lawyer a few days ago at Ehor, a town located along the Benin-Auchi freeway.

It is still not clear yet if Ozekhome family paid any ransom for his freedom as against the N50 million naira demanded by the abductors. But it’s expected that Police will soon issue official statement on his release after several days in captivity.
