Juan Mata insists he is happy to be at Chelsea after speculation linking him with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer.

The Spaniard has featured in just one of the Blues' opening four matches this season under new boss Jose Mourinho, leading to rumours the club wanted to sell the playmaker, despite denials by both Mourinho and Mata.

But after Chelsea reportedly rejected a deadline day bid from Paris Saint-Germain, Mata remains at the club and says he wants to continue his 'amazing' two years in west London.

'I think it's normal in every transfer window that there are lots of rumours but I'm happy her,' said the 25-year-old.

'It's been a very, very good two seasons for me here, maybe the best of my career and what I want this season is the same.

'My only aim is to play here, grow as a player and do as good a season as the last two which were amazing for me.'

Since joining the Blues in 2011 from Valencia, Mata has considerably bolstered his trophy collection.

Not only has the Spanish international picked up back-to-back player of the year awards at Stamford Bridge, he has also guided his side to Champions League, FA Cup and Europa League glory.
