Arsenal Win To Clinch Fourth Spot
Arsenal secured a top-four finish for the 16th successive season to qualify for the Champions League after a nervy win over Newcastle at St James' Park.
Newcastle had the better of a goalless first half, defending stoutly and limiting the visitors to few chances.
Arsenal improved and Laurent Koscielny poked home from a Theo Walcott free-kick to put the Gunners ahead.
There were few chances from there on, until Walcott weaved into the box and hit the post in stoppage time.
