Pictures: Varsity Finalist, Onyeka Nwanne Emerged Plus-Sized African Beauty Queen

A final year student of Madonna University, Imo State, Onyeka Nwanne has emerged the winner of the Plus-sized African Beauty Pageant winner. Onyeka was crowned queen of the plus 12 women at a ceremony held at the Grand Hotel, Asaba, Delta State on September 16, 2012.

Onyeka went home with a brand new car. The beauty contest, which was put together by Vichiano Services Ltd, had the likes of Aquila Njamah and Ifeoma Okeke as judges while Qristyl Frazier (a plus-size fashion designer from the US) as the chief judge. Plus-size model, Nicole Zepeda from the US also graced the occasion.

Ola of BigBrother and plus-size super model and actress, Liris Crosse hosted the show. The event did not fail to excite guests that thronged the beauty show as music was dished out by Delta State-born artiste, 2Sec while DJ Ataba kept many dancing with tunes coming out from his wheel of steel.
