Fr Mbaka Ignored Beheading Of Evangelist’s Wife But Now Defends Buhari – Reno Omokri
SAN FRANCISCO, November 30, (THEWILL) – Former Special Assistant to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on New Media, Reno Omokri, has left a soul-searching message for the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Ejike Mbaka, asking whether the reverend father was called by God to defend hapless Nigerians or President Muhammadu Buhari, who has five aides and an Information minister to speak for him.
THEWILL had reported that Mbaka absolved President Buhari of any blame concerning the current economic hardship in the country , claiming that “if (former President Goodluck) Jonathan was the president today, the situation would have been worse”.
But in the message to the Enugu-based Catholic priest, Omokri wrote: “The wife of an evangelist was beheaded-you kept quiet. Her suspected killers were acquitted-you kept quiet. However, today you have find your voice to defend President Muhammadu Buhari and condemn former President Goodluck Jonathan.
“As a Reverend Father, were you called by God to speak for a man who has 5 media aides and a minister of information all speaking for him or where you called to speak for the poor and powerless children of God who face injustice with no one speaking for them?”
The fierce critic of the Buhari administration also took to his Twitter handle to condemn the directive by the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, for all telecoms service providers to increase the cost of data plan from December 1.
“Does anyone remember when GSM/Internet rate plans collapsed from ₦3k to ₦1k under 'clueless' Goodluck Jonathan? I need a witness. Please share and comment if you do remember. May God bless GEJ forever!”, Omokri wrote.
