World Assembly of Youths commend President Jonathan on providing good leadership

By The Citizen

The African Representative to the World Assembly of Youths, Mr Mavine Yobana, has said that in spite of security challenges, President Goodluck Jonathan had achieved a transparent leadership framework.

Yobana made the remark in an interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt on Thursday.

He said Jonathan's administration had within two years in office come up with an administrative framework that could not be effectively criticised.

“As I speak today, Nigeria has been reappointed into the United Nation's Security Council which is a landmark achievement for this administration.

'This is an administration that within two years had come up with a transparent framework to say look, this is what I have done, come and criticise me on my mid-term report.

'And as we speak, none of the opposition parties or individuals have been able to criticise what was written; this is the first administration that published it.

'This government has also moved Nigeria to be one of the first countries in Africa recognised by the international community in the immediate concluded UN General Assembly.

'Nigeria was one of the countries to make presentation after America. It has never happened before for the past 22 years,' Yobana said.

The youth leader said Jonathan's administration had been recognised internationally by various political and economic world powers like America, China and Japan, among others.

Yobana also applauded the president for the electricity reforms and urged youths to take advantage of the reforms to create small and medium scale businesses in the country.

He also urged the youth to maintain peace and support the government to achieve its development targets.

We called this news analysis as the political selfsustaining. While this comment is that, does these world youth assembly did not see and heard incessant strike rocking the educational sector of this country? What about the corruption at the pick level, how did Jonathan leadership style work on those sector. So be watchful.

Mr president had actually made so much effort indeed to stablize the polity of nigeria and as well to maintain the sustainable economic growth and development both locally and internationally but due to opposition parties things couldn't happen the way it was planned so to me i would put one and half blame on the detractors and half on jonathan as a result of his inability to take action and use his legitimate power to punish those offenders at when due.
