JTF Kill Boko Haram Henchman, Arrest Two Others

Huhuonline.com understands that the Joint Military Task force, Monday, killed one person alleged to be one of the top members of   dreaded Boko Haram sect, and arrested two others. Our checks reveals that the JTF stormed the hideout of   the

dreaded   Islamist sect, Boko Haram, at Hotoro general area of Kano municipality, while terrorist group was   having   strategy session..

Our checks reveal that the raid which occurred in the morning, involved several infantry and counter terrorism officers. It was swift and ended within half an hour, said a source who could not confirm the identity of the 'top commander' killed during the operation.

The raid of the terrorist hideout, came on the heel of a devastating attack by   Boko Haram at Hotoro area where a member of National Civil Defense Corp, and his entire family was wiped out.

Confirming the arrest , JTF spokesman, Lt Ikediche Iweha,   said ' we carried out a raid this morning around Hotoro general area where   we killed a member of a terrorist group and arrested two during the operation'

Asked about the identity of slain top member vis-a-viz   those arrested,Lt Iweha , said, 'we don't have their nominal roll and can not say who was killed and arrested but investigation would certainly revealed their identity.'
