Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Vice Chairman (South-West) has extolled the virtues of the party's National Chairman, Dr. Bamanga Tukur, describing him as a reference point for both Public and Private sector Managers and a leader of leaders.

Oni's Media Aide, Lere Olayinka said in a release issued today that the PDP National Vice-Chairman, in his goodwill message to the PDP National Chairman on his 77th birthday said his (Tukur) commitment to the African Continent and uncommon dedication to a brilliant future for our great party, the PDP was not in doubt.

"On behalf of my family and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), South-West Zone, I write to congratulate you on your 77th birthday anniversary, which comes up on Saturday, 15th, 2012.

"Baba, I want to place on record that your Blueprint for Gongola State which you prepared before your election victory in 1983 was one of my greatest inspirations in Development Planning on my trajectory to the governorship of Ekiti State in the 2007 elections. I found the blueprint (which I obtained courtesy of your daughter, Mrs. Zainab Jaji) a most valuable reference document and a very powerful attestation of your depth of love and concern for a society that cares for all.

"Baba, I want to also place on record your commitment to the African Continent, and most importantly your uncommon dedication to a brilliant future for our great party, the PDP. It is my prayer that God will continue to make your days on earth fruitful. He will prevent evil from befalling you and your entire household and His hands of Mercy will be upon you.

"No doubt, at 77, you have remained a reference point for both Public and Private sector Managers and a leader of leaders. I wish you good health and long life as you continue to pursue the 3Rs + 3Es Agenda that will take our party to lofty heights for the betterment of our nation, Nigeria and our people across every ethnic, religious, and geopolitical divides," Oni said.
