Fires Guts LUTH's HIV/AIDS Facility

SAN FRANCISCO, August 30, (THEWILL) – The AIDS Prevention Initiative (APIN) research laboratory located inside the University of Lagos Teaching Hospital (LUTH), in Idi-Araba, Sulurele, Lagos has been razed by a fire.

The Thursday night fire believed to have been caused by a power surge destroyed the entire facility before fire fighters arrived to contain it.

THEWILL however gathered from emergency personnel that there are no casualties.
