ACN URGES MUSLIMS TO PRAY FOR PEACE

Muslims in Osun state have been enjoined to use the occasion of this year Ramadan to pray for continuous peace and progress in the state.

The Chairman of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in the state, Elder Adelowo Adebiyi gave the charge in a statement issued by the party's Director of Publicity, Research and Strategy, Barrister Kunle Oyatomi.

The party reminded Muslims of their obligations which include fasting in the month of Ramadan, advised all the Muslims in the state to use the opportunity offered by the holy month to also pray for harmony in all parts of the state.

He said the ACN is a party which believes in prayer as the only key that could open all the closed doors, hence the need for all Muslims in the state regardless of their political affiliation to pray for wisdom and good health for Governor Aregbesola to continue with his good works for the state.

While stressing the need to embrace prayer as the only tool that could bring about positive change, Elder Adebiyi stated that the emergence of Governor Aregbesola as the Governor of the state was a result of the prayers of the good people of the state, and urged them not to relent in praying for the Governor and every member of his cabinet.

He also advised the Muslims in the state to live a holy life during the month of Ramadan as prescribed by Prophet Mohamed, so as for their sacrifice in the holy month to be acceptable before the Almighty Allah.

While congratulating all the Muslim leaders and the entire Muslim community in the state on the opportunity to witness yet another Ramadan, Elder Adebiyi prayed Almighty Allah to bestow His abundant blessings on them and the state at large through out the Ramadan and beyond.
