FG Appoints Emeziem as Chairman FCT Scholarship Board

The Federal Government of Nigeria has appointed the former member representing Aboh Mbaise State Constituency in the Imo State House Assembly, Hon. Alex Okechukwu Emeziem as the Chairman Federal Capital Territory scholarship board.

In a release, Emeziem was shortlisted amongst other chairmen and members of the reconstituted boards of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Agencies.

Hon. Emeziem whose remarkable career began with his vibrant and active politics at a very young age became a pioneer in numerous ways, including attaining a high level of education. He received a degree in Sociology and Masters in International Relations at the Imo State University. His goal from a tender age was always to achieve a high level of education and aim for excellence in all his endeavors.

In 2003, his political aspirations were manifested when he contested and won to represent Aboh Mbaise, in the Imo State House of Assembly. In the process, he became the Deputy Majority Leader and Chairman, House Committee on Judiciary between 2003-2007.

Later, he was appointed as a Board Member of the Secondary Education Management Board but got resigned as a result of increase in school fees by the then government.

Hon. Alex Okey Emeziem jnr. is now an accomplished politician cum business man. As a fearless, straight-forward and outspoken politician, he is now a formidable political force. He has empowered many people socially, politically and economically.
