I Want To Remain A Virgin But...

I’m 15 and in JHS One. A boy proposed to me but I turned him down. Later, I accepted his proposal and he promised to give me everything I needed.

After a week, he called me and told me that he wanted to have intimate relations with me but I told him that I would not do that.

He makes me happy but I don’t want to break my virginity. What should I do?

If you are serious about maintaining your virginity, then you should not start a relationship now.

Being in a relationship at your age will not help you to protect your virginity. You will one day fall to temptation from him so it will be better to end the relationship.

Rahemat, you will meet so many boys whom you may be attracted to. You may even think you love them, but you need to be careful not to start any relationship with them because at this stage in your life that is how you will feel. But you should know that any wrong move can affect your life forever.

Any boy who is a friend and wants to touch you wants to experiment with you and that is not right. It will be in your interest to end the relationship now and don’t worry about how you feel about him, for you will get over it soon.

If you don’t listen to advice and you continue, you will regret it later.
