Former president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, Most Rev. John Onaiyekan, has called on the government to ensure that the probe subsidy report are implemented in order to end the controversy trailing the probe report.

He made the call yesterday while fielding questions from newsmen when House Mates of the Achievers' Platform Reality Show 2012, a program of Inspire Youth Network, Abuja Catholic Diocese, paid him a visit at his house in Abuja.

He said despite the insecurity, the year recorded some achievements.

He advocated for a situation where corrupt people are given amnesty so that they can open up and return stolen funds, saying punishment such as ensuring they do not hold such position again will be enough for them.
