LET'S BEGIN TO PRACTICE REAL DEMOCRACY -APGA UK

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) United Kingdom Chapter has said it is high time Nigeria and Nigerians began to practise true democracy, as practiced in developed countries.

APGA UK in a release signed by its General Secretary, Sir Onyeka Mbaso and made available to Daily Sun, said it is not happy with the recent happenings in Anambra State, where some few individuals have continued to make some undemocratic statements detrimental to the growth of the state and Nigeria in general.

It particularly took a swipe at the recent comments credited to Chief Sylva Nwobu-Alor, saying his recent comment on the party's national chairman, Sir Victor Umeh is highly unacceptable, adding that such statement showed the level of desperation and indiscipline.

He was rather a member of UNPP that was registered alongside APGA,' it said.

The group said the recent interview granted to Umeh by Daily Sun was clear and direct and that the party chapter in the UK supports the position of the National Chirman.

It called on the Inspector-General of Police to arrest all those bent on destabilizing the state, while it also called on Governor Peter Obi to listen to the advice of the party that elected him in accordance with the party's manifesto. It called on the party to disregard those bent on destabilizing it, saying that such people lack positive vision and should be sent for mental examination.

'This is the time for Anambra people to stamp their feet on the ground and say no to unproductive elements, as the state should not be singing praises for atrocities again in Anambra,' it said.
