LONDON, United-Kingdom, April 11, 2012/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- The Head of the United Kingdom election mission, Peter Thompson, has returned to Guinea-Bissau until the conclusion of the electoral process. Mr. Thompson intends to meet all major stakeholders regarding recent developments. The Mission continues to implore all candidates and stakeholders to respect the rule of law and to adhere to the democratic process.

Mr. Thompson will be joined next week by his colleague Lord Robin Teverson, Chairman of the EU/Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Lords (British upper house/senate). Lord Teverson is one of the most senior British politicians in history to visit Guinea-Bissau.
