Catwalk Stars Set To Shine

Ghana's two representatives of the M-Net Face of Africa competition, Hamamat and Kate will join eight other incredible young ladies to strut their stuff on the catwalk tonight for the finals.

At 20.00 CAT, DStv audience across Africa can tune in for the live M-Net Face of Africa 2008 Finale, a sparkling celebration of continental style and talent as the captivating search to find one unforgettable African face reaches its dramatic and spectacular finish at Sun City in Johannesburg.

The other contestants are Alli and Sola, from Nigeria, Hiwot, Ethiopia, Joana, Angola, Lucy, Uganda, Maria, Namibia, Noxi, Zambia and Sasa, South Africa.

The ladies were discovered during a dynamic pan-African search.

There will be performances by popular Idols winner Eric Moyo (Sondela, This is Everything) as well as the House of the Holy Afro performers from the hit Afro-funk stage show.

In addition, lending their powerhouse appeal to the Finale are Nigerian hip hop sensations Naeto C and Ikechukwu.

And while everyone of the top 10 finalists are set to shine during the glittering gala, only one is destined to be the M-Net Face of Africa 2008, making a fairy-tale transformation from aspiring model to an African icon. Who will she be? The winner will receive $50,000 from M-Net plus a modelling contract with O Model Africa.
