Hon. Herman Hembe, chairman of the House Representative Committee probing activities of the capital market has stepped down. According to him, his resignation is to enable him clear his name and seek legal redress, against the backdrop of accusation of bribery

 and corruption leveled against himself and members of his committee. In its place, an adhoc committee headed by Hon.    It would be recalled that last week, the integrity of the Herman Hembe led committee was alleged to be suspect, as they were accused of demanding Forty four million naira from the Nigerian Security and exchange Commission, as bribe.
