I read with surprise and disappointment the publication made by a group that called themselves “New Anambra Youth forum” on 15th day of March 2012 in page 49 of Daily Sun Newspaper duly signed by Mr. Emeka Igboezuo and Stella Okere as Chairman and Secretary respectively.

According to the publication, they advised citizens of Anambra South to massively vote Chuma Nzeribe of APGA in the coming Senatorial election.

Further still, they said that giving Chuma Nzeribe our votes will be the biggest respect we will pay our supreme leader late Dim Ikemba Ojukwu.

As the Chairman of Anambra South Youth Assembly (ASYA) I urged my fellow Anambra Southerners to vote for the right candidate which is the ideal late Odumegwu Ojukwu stood for when he was alive and not party.

Late Ikemba Ojukwu never supported the candidature of Chuma Nzeribe so how can voting someone he never gave his support be a sign of respect to him?

Do not be deceived by any group or person, we, the Youth of Anambra South have experienced effective representation through Senator Andy Uba who believe so much in Youth empowerment.

Finally, I urged all citizens of Anambra south to come out on Tuesday 20th day of March and cast our votes where we will get effective representation.

I believe a vote for Senator Andy Uba is rightly cast.
