New Police IG, MD Abubakar Loses Wife

Reports reaching Nollywoodgists.com has it that the wife of newly appointed Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Dikko Abubakar, is dead.

We learnt that Hajiya Maryam Abubakar died today in a local hospital in Kano, after a battle with cancer.

Hajiya Maryam Abubakar will be buried later today according to Islamic rites.

MD Abubakar was appointed the new IG last week to succeed Hafiz Rigim.
