By NBF News

While Nigerians have continued to applaud the performance of the Home Eagles players who were forced to a goalless draw by the Angolan National Team at the Abuja National Stadium on Wednesday, Coach Keshi has said there was still a lot of work to be done.

Speaking immediately after the match, he noted that he was happy with the performance of the players, but stated that the team is still a work in progress while enjoining Nigerians not to be carried away by the home draw against the star-loaded Angolan senior national team.

Angola paraded first team squad that the Coach, Lito Vidigal. said would definitely play the first match in the Africa Nations Cup.

The team included top players like striker Mateus Contreiras Alberto popularly known as Manucho, goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Fernandes and winger Flavio Amado to mention a few and the Home Eagles still held their own against the Angolans.

'I am happy with the performance of the boys, they really played to my expectation. As we play more of this kind of matches the more their confidence will grow and they will become better', Keshi observed shortly after the match on Wednesday.
