Wale Adenuga Productions, producer of wave-making television series like 'Superstory', 'Papa Ajasco', 'This Life', and 'Nnenna & Friends', has continued to win honours and accolades in quick succession.

In deed, the numerous awards the production outfit has in its kitty attest to its resilience and excellence. On November 27, 2011, the company's enthralling weekly TV drama series, 'Superstory', bagged the Celebrity Media Award for the most popular serial on TV. And on December 7, another landslide victory came for Mr. Wale Adenuga, Chairman of the organization as he was named the Creative Entrepreneur of the Year by Creative Entrepreneurs Association of Nigeria, and British Council, Nigeria. Other contenders were men and women of honour from film, music, visual arts, and publishing. Not done with awards, Adenuga's 'Superstory' was also crowned as the Best TV programme (drama) at the Nigerian Broadcasters Awards held on December 11, 2011.

For 14 years, Adenuga has dazzled Nigerians with his blockbuster television shows. In fact, the recent honours coincide with the 10th anniversary of 'Superstory'.

Meanwhile, thousands of children and their parents last weekend trooped out for the much-awaited 'Nnenna & Friends Live Show', which was organized by the company to mark the end of 2011.

The event, which held at the Main Exhibition Hall of National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos, was an opportunity for the children to have fun with Nnenna and her friends. Oleku star, Ice Prince drove the crowd hysterical with his popular songs. Also, the cast of 'Papa Ajasco & Co' tickled the audience with their stage drama while Seyi Law, Elenu and other comedians equally kept the audience gasping for breath.

The show was brought to a crescendo as Delectable J'odie rocked the cradle with her 'Kuchi Kuchi' hit song. The Explicit Dancers' performance was captivating, so also were the Jonsog dancers. Participants at the show sang and danced along with 'Nnenna & Friends' band as they rendered sonorous Christmas carol.

Excited Nnenna says: 'I am truly impressed by the massive turn-out. It brought joy to my heart seeing smiles on the faces of the children. I'm looking forward to the 'Nnenna & Friends Valentine show' coming up on February 12, 2012.'
