IBADAN- As part of efforts to tame traffic congestion in Oyo State, Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State yesterday flagged-off the construction of a fly-over bridge that will gulp N2.13 billion at Mokola roundabout in Ibadan.

The fly-over bridge, according to him, is being handled by Messrs CCECC Nigeria Limited and is expected to be completed within 12 months.

He said the flag-off on the Sango-Mokola-Dugbe Road was a testimony of his administration's commitment to ensuring that the citizens of the state live better life.

'It is a testimony to the fact that we desire good and robust life for the people of Oyo State,' he said.

Even though, the road is a federal road, he added it was one of the tools to reduce conflict at intersections which will consequently reduce accidents, loss of lives and man-hour wastage at junctions.
