NGIGE, EZE, OTHERS FOR ALOR THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION

The Alor community in Idemmili South Local Government Area of Anambra State will be rolling out the drums in celebration of it's second annual Thanksgiving Day on January 2, 2012.

The event, according to the Public Relations Officer of the community, Innocent Peace, is for the indigenes of the town to thank the Lord for His wonderful works. He had done for the town in the past 10 years, like making one of their sons the Governor of Anambra State between 2003-2006 and now a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the person of Dr. Chris N. Ngige, and another the DG Public Procurement in the Presidency in the person of Engr. Dr. Emeka Eze among so many other testimonies of elevation both spiritually and materially.

This year's event will commence from Sunday, January 1, 2012 with thanksgiving in three different churches in the town namely: St. Charles Boromeo Catholic Church, St. Andrews Anglican Church and Christ Kingdom Life Ministries. The concluding event takes place on January 2, with ministration by Rev Cannon Barnabas Nwajide. Royal Father of the day will be His Royal Majesty Igwe J.C. Nkwoka, Ezediohamma II of Alor. Chief Host; Chief Uzoma Igbonwa (Okeife) President Alor People's Convention (APC) The event is powered by Alor Prayer Project in conjunction with the Alor People's Convention of which Bro. Sam Nwachukwu is the Chairman, Planning Committee.
