Praises have been showered on the organizers of the first ever Niger Delta Youth Empowerment programme, which held early this year in all the states of the region.

Some participants of the programme commended the organizers for empowering them through entertainment by the Paul Obazele led team that travelled round the region discovering and nurturing future stars in both movie and music sectors.

Ebong Adolprince Egbe, the overall winner in the cinematography category when the team landed in Cross River State, has not stopped thanking Obazele and his team for empowering and helping to change his life overnight.

'I want to send my appreciation to the Ministry of Niger Delta, for funding such a wonderful programme through Obazele and his wonderful team. Now, I'm known as the cameraman in my area and I am shooting good and quality video jobs and also making money due to the training I received. I am so happy. This training through the Ministry of Niger Delta has given my life a new meaning. May God richly reward you all.' Elated Egbe gushed.

Another winner, Kalu, currently the head of instrumentals at the Revival Assembly Church, Ogba, Lagos, in a chat with us maintained the programme has rekindled his passion for entertainment. The emerging talent who won in the music category at the Owerri, Imo State finals, is poised to drop his debut album, which he confessed was made possible by the organizers of the hunt.

It was further gathered that most of the winners and other contestants featured prominently in separate workshops recently organized by AMP Eko International Film Festival and their Abuja counterpart, respectively. Some are currently working on new soap projects with Chico Ejiro's Grand Touch Pictures and Obazele's Royal Pictures.
