PREPARATION HOTS UP AS MIKANO, VISAFONE SUPPORT BANKERS-NITE OUT.
Preparation is in top gear as massive support and endorsement from corporate organisations and individuals have started coming the way of the organisers of the first ever Bankers Nite Out in Nigeria slated for Friday 11th , December, 2009 at the prestigious Lagoon Restaurant, Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island, Lagos. Top on the list of the corporate organisations buying into the event are MIKANO, VISAFONE , while Artistes Zone, Video Wheels, Red Carpet Media etc have all come on board as Media Partners for the event.
The event in the last few weeks has been gathering momentum in and outside Lagos, as beautiful looking models have been moving around Banks and Corporate Organisations to sensitize them and the public about the coming Banker-Nite Out. The event will surely bring succour and relaxation the way of bankers and others in the banking industry, whom are generally known as workaholic with little or no time for fun.
The event is expected to have two phases, intellectual discourse session, where critical issues affecting Nigeria's baking industry will be properly dissected and concert/party time-out session where the bankers are expected to dance, unwind and catch their trip.
According to the event coordinator, Nwabuoku Lilian E., she said “ It has not been easy in the last few weeks but as you can see, we are making tremendous progress in terms of sponsorship, partnership and endorsement from relevant stakeholders, as they all stand to get unprecedented mileage from buying into the event. And apart from this, I am happy to say that all the twenty-four banks in Nigeria will be participating, so, it is going to be huge and massive. The event is meant for the ever-busy bankers to reminisce, rub minds, unwind, and meet the who is who in the society while also catching their fun.” she submits.
Bankers Nite-Out is obviously a break from the norm in terms of event planning and management in Nigeria. Today, bankers are seen as one of the stiffest professionals who hardly mix-up and get together because of the nature of their work, more so, at this difficult time of debt recovery and global economic crisis, so, we are creating a platform for leisure, love and unity amidst bankers across the 24 different banks in Nigeria.
This fun-clothed event is a program strictly packaged for the twenty-four banks in Nigeria, as bankers are expected to bring along their spouses, loved ones, families, friends to catch fun.
The event is tagged ''BANKERS NITE OUT'' and the slogan is Mix, Unwind, Implored.
The event is expected to have the best of Nigeria acts unleashing different performances to the admiration of the bankers and corporate organisations represenatatives. The artistes pencilled down to thrill the audience are Wande Coal, Banky W, M.I, Eldee, Dj Zeez,DA Grin, Clever J., DJXeno, amidst many others while the one and only Basket Mouth will get people's bones cracking with laughter, as Helen Paul and Jafextra are part of the special guest for the nite.
The event which is put together by I Am Productions Ltd in conjunction with NOAA Link Entertainment is the organiser's contribution to the banking industry, as it will be a forum for cross-fertilisation of ideas and networking opportunity for the bankers amidst fun and relaxed atmosphere.
