Italy / Cooperation: benefit concert for Kenyan children

ROME, Italy, December 1, 2011/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- The Embassy of Italy in Nairobi is sponsoring a concert, with performances by three Italian soloists from the Teatro della Scala and the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia, on Wednesday 30 November for the purpose of collecting funds for the joint humanitarian efforts of the Italian Development Cooperation and the Kenyan Red Cross – in particular, projects to ensure access to drinkable water and healthcare for the children of the Turkana region in northwest Kenya.
