Italy / Ambassador Designate Mazzella will be in Nairobi tomorrow, 24 November 2011

ROME, Italy, November 24, 2011/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- The Ambassador Designate to Somalia, Andrea Mazzella, will be leaving tomorrow for Nairobi, where he will perform his new functions until he can move to Mogadishu at the earliest possible date.

The announcement was made by the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Maurizio Massari, who explained that the Italian diplomatic post in the Somali capital will be located in the UN mission there. Italy, added Massari, intends to work hard to help achieve “success in the complicated Somali transition”.
