MARITIME WORKERS RAISE ALARM OVER PLOT TO DESTABILISE SECTOR

LAGOS - MARITIME Workers Union of Nigeria, MWUN, weekend, raised alarm over plot by some persons within the maritime sector to destabilise the sector, starting from Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, and vowed to expose those involved, if they continued in their nefarious activities.

The union claimed it had a dossier on the activities of those involved in NIMASA and how they recruited people, including a section of the media to distabilise NIMASA and create confusion in the sector for self reasons.

MWUN in a statement by its President-General, Mr Nted Emmanuel, threatened to forward the dossier of those behind the evil plot to destabilise the sector to the appropriate authorities in the next two weeks, should they continue with their nefarious activities.
