CJN APPOINTS ADAMU AS MEDIA ADVISER

ABUJA- The Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Dahiru Musdapher, has approved the appointment of Mallam Muhammad Adamu as a Media Adviser and Public Affairs Consultant to the Judiciary.

A statement by Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court, Mr Sunday Olorundahunsi, said 'Adamu is expected to lead the implementation of the new CJN's initiative.'

Adamu, a 1987 graduate of the University of Sokoto (now Usman Dan Fodio University) holds a B.A. degree in English/Literature, with a 20-year carrier as a journalist mostly in the stables of the defunct Concord Press of Nigeria, CPN, and African Concord magazine.

The statement said: 'Currently, he is a general media practitioner, a private consultant on the legislative process and a public affairs analyst who until this appointment has been a columnist and member of the Editorial Board of Peoples Daily Newspapers and a contributing columnist with Vanguard Newspapers.'
