Huhuonline.com http://Huhuonline.com/ can report that former minister of information and All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District in the April 9, 2011 election, Prof. Dora Akunyili, has expressed confidence that she would be

declared  winner in the on-going disputed senatorial election.

Akunyili, who dismissed media reports claiming that the Election Petition Tribunal had summarily dismissed her petition for lack of merit, explained that the case was only struck out based on the non-availability of Form TF008 which had mysteriously disappeared from the case file.

While faulting the Tribunal's ruling of Thursday, October 20 where her petition was struck out, she expressed surprise that the Tribunal had over-ruled itself since its earlier ruling of October 4 pointed out that Form TF008 was filed by her lawyer.

She also revealed that the case which is still at its pre-hearing stage has not been heard as she has gone on appeal, adding the impression that she has completely lost out in the case is false.

The former minister therefore urged her supporters to remain calm but unwavering in their quest for justice.

She explained that the case was not dismissed but only struck out based on the non-availability of Form TF008 which had mysteriously disappeared from the case file.
